  1.                                BOWLER - 69'S
  2.                                =============

  4.         This  option  allows  the  manual  updating  of  the  "Sixty Nines"
  5.  individual bowler award.  Although this award may not  be  known  in  some
  6.  types of bowling games, it is used in many Candlepin leagues.

  8.         The  award  represents  the number of strings that a bowler has had
  9.  the score of "69" in one  of  the  frames  bowled.  Normally,  the  bowler
  10.  contributes  a  sum  of  money  into  a  "pot"  which is then given to the
  11.  individual with the maximum number at the end of the season.

  13.          Once selected, BowlStat will display a blank bowler search  panel.
  14.  Select  the  field  to match and enter the required infromation to yield a
  15.  match. For example:

  44.          If the matched bowler has 69's to be entered, press  the  "Y"  and
  45.  "Enter"  or "Return" key. BowlStat will then prompt for the number of 69's
  46.  to be added to the bowler's current value in the database.

  54.         Enter a number from 0 to 9 and press the "Enter" or  "Return"  key.
  55.  BowlStat  will  ADD  this  to the current total, 3, for a new total of 10.
  56.  BowlStat will then continue it's search for additional bowler matches.

  58.         Unlike  other  bowler  database  operations,  the number of 69's is
  59.  entered in a prompt window at the bottom of the  screen  and  not  in  the
  60.  "BOWLER  INFORMATION" panel. This is because the number of 69's entered is
  61.  ADDED to the current value rather than replacing it,  as  in  other  panel
  62.  operations.

  64.  NOTE: The value of 69's to be entered is ADDED to the current total of the
  65.        matched bowler. It does NOT REPLACE it.!

  67.        The maximum number of 69's to be added at one time is 9.
